She said the donated items such as stethoscopes, sphygmomanometers and other clinical implements will be “extremely useful.”

Meanwhile, local representative of SVG Helping Hands Inc., Sheron France-Charles, said that she was pleased to hand over the goods to the various organizations including the Lewis Punnett Home. She stated that she was aware that the items were specifically requested.

She commended the members and donors of the two year old organization for making their various contributions towards improving the lives of Vincentians and noted that their donations were greatly appreciated.

France-Charles also mentioned that she was pleased with the government $25.00 fee for the clearance of barrels and stated that this made the process to collect the barrels a lot cheaper. A total of 14 barrels have been donated to various organizations for the year throughout the country by the SVG Helping Hands Inc.
