“St. Vincent is going to have a weak government and weak opposition. The ULP team is weak because they do not even have a specialist in finance. We live in an age of financial management,” O’Neal told SEARCHLIGHT on Wednesday.

O’Neal’s comments came two days after the ULP secured their third consecutive term in office with a majority eight to seven win.

O’Neal went on to say: “The Prime Minister is not a university graduate in finance, neither is deputy prime minister, Girlyn Miguel. I really don’t know where we are going. I don’t see progress under the ULP government.”

O’Neal said that his party will continue to fight and vowed not to “link up” with the NDP or ULP. (KW)
