Tom Calthrop, Manager of TradeWinds Cruise Club, told SEARCHLIGHT

yesterday that two directors of TradeWinds Cruise Club, including “Edith” who was referred to in our story “Men injured at party” of September 24, “asked Ollivierre to leave the beach immediately after the initial incident.”

Ollivierre’s right leg was almost severed during an attack on Princess Margaret Beach.

Calthrop told SEARCHLIGHT that Ollivierre, 37, is not employed with TradeWinds Cruise Club, but with The Yacht Club Inc, a St Vincent and the Grenadines registered company which provides services for TradeWinds Cruise Club Inc.

“TradeWinds Cruise Club Inc is a company with interests spread across both the Caribbean and Europe. We gather staff annually to discuss the coming year’s activities and focus.

Representatives from The Yacht Club were present, as they provide services for TradeWinds Cruise Club Inc,” Calthrop’s statement said.

Calthrop also made it clear that no employee of TradeWinds Cruise Club Inc or The Yacht Club Inc was involved in the alleged beating of Garnet “Bughouse” Shallow, the man who admitted to Searchlight that he chopped Ollivierre because he “felt threatened”.
