An Interact Club consists of young persons between the ages of 12 and 18 years. It is an important element of Rotary International to foster the ideals of Service Above Self among youth across the globe. It is also an important part of Rotary’s efforts to foster the development of young people worldwide. The St Clair Dacon Secondary School Interact club was formed during the first week of school in January 2010 and has a membership of twenty boys and girls. President Delia Mc Dowall has been the driving force behind the formation of this new club.

The students were assisted in the planting of a Wax Apple tree by Immediate Past President Ashley Cain, President Delia Mc Dowall and Rotarian Marijke Wyllie of the Rotary Club of St Vincent South. The Prospective Interactors recited a poem, sang and delivered a hearty thank you to the Rotarians.
