These students from the Ambassador Corp (Students today, Alumni tomorrow) aim through visits to schools and interaction with young people generally to contribute to youth leadership development and regional integration, to share their experiences about University life and to promote University programmes.

The UWI Open House activities will involve visits to selected schools and colleges by visiting University personnel to dialogue with students and staff about University programmes, admission requirements and process and career opportunities.

On Friday, January 15, the final day of the Open House programme, a seminar will be held in the morning at the University Centre that will involve representatives of Education and Financial Institutions, Voluntary Organisations, the University Alumni Association and visiting University personnel. Later that day, from 1-5 pm, there will be an Open Session- open to students and the general public, where University personnel will answer questions, provide information about University programmes and admission requirements and process and dialogue generally with the public on relevant matters. This session will be of particular interest to persons who are in the process of applying to the University or who have recently submitted applications.
