After seven weeks of the biggest promotion this summer, telecommunications firm LIME continues to amaze and excite its customers with its “UR It” promotions. Hundreds of daily winners and dozens of weekly winners are having a ball when they turn up at the LIME Corporate office on Halifax Street to collect their prizes.{{more}}

This week saw the most weekly winners since the promotions started. Kenson Billy of Byera (US$500 cash), Desmond Lewis of Kingstown (BlackBerry 8900 smartphone), Joesika O’Garro of Barrouallie (Digital camera), Curt Dyer (Apple iTouch), Willis Pierre of Union Island (US$200 clothing voucher) and Josel Grant of Rose Place (US$100 voucher for spa services) are celebrating big time. With just two weeks remaining until the promotion ends on September 6th, customers are urged to continue to Talk, Text, Take and Top Up with LIME.

“The thing that amazes me with this summer promotion is that our customers are stopping at nothing to win these fabulous prizes. The arm chairs are favored by customers and so too are the caps. I think we have more than exceeded our customers’ expectations this summer since over eight hundred persons have already won and redeemed prizes”, said Fitz Huggins LIME’s Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications.

Curt Dyer shouted across the room when he was contacted and told that he won the Apple iTouch said “Boy Ah win the Apple Itouch from LIME. Ah blinging now. This is a fantastic prize and I always wanted one, just that I couldn’t afford to buy won yet. Thank you, LIME.”

“There is a definite buzz of activity in our stores since the launch of our summer promotion. The theme song by Beenie Man and Cecile has grown on people as the promotion got into high gear. We have also seen a tremendous response from our customers. We have also supplemented the promotions by putting on the Summer Dance Warz competition in various communities. I urge you to continue to take part as the promotions enter the final weeks. Don’t get left out,” said Angus Steele Country Manager.

Launched at the beginning of July, the “UR It” promotion gives LIME’s customers four different ways to win – by topping up $20 or more, texting the word “UP” to 5463, talk for five minutes or more and take up any product or service in LIME’s portfolio.

With the promotion running over a two-month period, hundreds of customers continue to win from a prize pool totaling $65,000. Customers may win multiple times, via any of the qualifying methods.

While customers are winning prizes in the weekly draws, there are also lots of instant prizes to be won like baby tees, sports towels, folding chairs, T-shirts, backpacks and more.
