Journalists gets gifts from Digicel

Three members of the local media were the beneficiaries of Digicel’s generosity last Monday when they received gifts from the telecommunications provider.

The presentations were made at the launch of Digicel’s ‘Free After 3’ promotion at the company’s head office on Bay Street.{{more}}

The lucky ones were freelance journalist Collin King, National Broadcasting Corporation Radio Reporter Recardo Wilson and NICE Radio Announcer Nerissa Sandy, who pulled winning envelopes from under their seats.

King was rewarded with a Blackberry handset, while Wilson received a Nano Ipod and Sandy collected $300 worth of free credit.

Digicel’s Marketing Manager, Juno DeRoche, said the free gifts to the media personnel was Digicel’s way of saying “thanks to the media for their support”.
