Instead of heading to Bequia for the Easter weekend or even hanging out with their friends, Young Leaders of the St Joseph’s Convent Kingstown Young Leaders put on their dust masks and rubber gloves to help in the clean up of the Kingstown Central Market as part of their project in this year’s RBTT Young Leaders programme.{{more}}

Coordinating teacher Laura Richards said that it was in their interest to help clean up Kingstown, which was the first phase of their project. Richards further noted that the group would be working closely with the Government in its efforts to clean the city.

The theme for this year’s competition is: “The Green Revolution, Global Challenge, Regional Responsibility, National Focus.”
