LIME customers who signed up for the company’s immensely popular All Talk plan in St Vincent and the Grenadines, as of March 16th, 2009, ceased to enjoy the ability to make calls to local fixed-lines using any of their 6000 minutes allocation in their package, as this part of the plan has had to be withdrawn on the directive of the National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC).{{more}}

LIME’s Country Manager said: “Our customers can continue to take full advantage of the 6000 minutes of calling offered by the plan at the unbelievably affordable rate, but the company has no choice at this time but to abide by the ruling of the regulatory body.”

“It’s very difficult for LIME and for LIME customers to understand, especially as the plan still allows customers to make calls to fixed lines in other countries but not in their own country. We will continue to look for new ways to offer value, especially in these difficult economic times, and our customers can expect to hear about some new and

even better added benefits to the All Talk

plan by way of some compensation,” Steele continued.

LIME Post-paid and prepaid customers can still sign up for All Talk and enjoy up to 6000 minutes of mobile-to-mobile calls in St Vincent and the Grenadines and to twelve other Caribbean countries where LIME operates, for the low monthly charge of $155.25 VAT inclusive. The All Talk Plan continues to be THE value mobile plan available in all markets where LIME operates.

Richard Dodd, CEO of Lime Caribbean, added that LIME is disappointed that this part of the offering has to be discontinued and apologizes to customers for any inconvenience which they may experience. “The objective of our ALL Talk plan remains unchanged and that is to give customers the best value for money mobile calling plan in these challenging economic times. We are comfortable that ALL Talk remains easily the best value package available to customers, and we promise that we will work to increase the value for our customers in the coming weeks.”
