Marketing manager of Courts SVG Alexis Harry-John during a press conference at the company’s headquarters in Kingstown on Monday June 16th, indicated that as part of the promotion, a 12-page catalogue produced by Courts is expected to hit the streets next Friday.

The catalogue, which features Sutherland on the front and back pages, as well as on other spreads with regional models, will also showcase a number of the company’s latest selections, as well as fashion tips and other deals offered by the store.

According to Harry-John the catalogue aims to send the message that it is high time to get fashionable with furniture.

“The same way you are conscious of your clothing and match your clothes and wardrobe, you should also do the same for your furniture.”

“Your sense of style is not only expressed by the clothes, shoes and accessories you wear, it is also reflected in the way you furnish your home. Just as some clothing styles suits some people and not others, furniture that is appropriate for one home’s décor may not necessarily work in another.”

“Odini bridges the gap between fashion and Courts furniture,” said Harry-John.

Courts customers will not be only treated to the fashion magazine; they will be also entitled to fashion vouchers from clothing stores The Trend, You and I Wear and Fran Paul.

Sutherland was selected from a field of six other models to be the ‘face’ of the promotion in the OECS territories.

She will tour the region as part of the promotion and will also be featured in a television commercial.

The Image Model is expected to feature on the July edition of Shabeau Magazine, after winning the female competition in April this year, becoming the first Vincentian to do so.
