New Taiwanese Ambassador arrives


Taiwan’s new Ambassador to St. Vincent and the Grenadines, His Excellency Leo Chen-jan Lee, presented his credentials to Her Excellency Monica Dacon, Acting Governor General on Wednesday.{{more}}

Acting Governor General Dacon welcomed Ambassador Lee and expressed the appreciation of cordial relations between Taiwan and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Ambassador Lee conveyed, on behalf of Taiwan’s new President, Dr. Ying-jeou Ma, greetings to the government and the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and reaffirmed Taiwan’s determination to further strengthen the bilateral relations and to honour its commitment to St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Ambassador Lee and his wife, Ivy Lee, arrived in St. Vincent and the Grenadines on May 19. Ambassador Lee holds a Master of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of London, United Kingdom. His previous assignments include: Director-General, Department of North American Affairs of Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Taiwan; Director for Political Affairs, Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the United States of America.
