The school took the title thanks to the efforts of Niasha Mofford, Gabrielle Robertson and Ormond Laidlow, whose 33 points were enough to secure the competition, which is in its third year.

The Prep school outscored second placed Calliaqua Anglican School by three points, and the Langley Park Government placed third with 25 points.

Apart from the computers, the students were awarded one year free Internet along with a challenge trophy and other gifts and prizes.

The twenty-four students from eight schools were congratulated for their efforts in the competition by co-sponsors of the event: Digicel, represented by Juno Deroche, and Andreas Scott of CLICO, and other officials who considered the tournament a promotion of healthy minds.

Teachers and organizers were also cheered for their work towards making the event a success. (JJ)
