De Roche also pointed out that Digicel was again pleased to support the Mustique Blues Fest because the proceeds from the recordings of the event will go towards the Basil Charles Educational Foundation to assist students with their academic needs.

She also applauded founder of the Festival Basil Charles for his endeavors and wished him continued success.

Meanwhile, Charles said that the contribution made by Digicel was evidence that Digicel was “serious about helping the festival” and he thanked the mobile telecommunications company for their continued support.

The Mustique Blues founder assured blues lovers that the Festival, which is in its 13th year, will continue to be a bona fide blues event that both locals and tourists can enjoy.

Charles also pointed out that patrons had a fabulous time jamming on the islands of Bequia, and mainland St Vincent, where the festival was also held.
