At the event, which took place at the Sky Blue Beach Hotel, Indian Bay, Ademola Williams collected the award for best actor; Keziah Quashie was adjudged best actress, while Shayne Alexander and Keverna Williams shared the top prize for Most Outstanding Contribution in 2007. Best singer was Lizanna Pollard, while the talented Jonathan Roberts was recognized for his brilliant performances in drama and song.

Awards were presented by SVG’s delegate to Miss Universe 2004 Laferne Fraser and parent Yasmin Adams. The club also used the opportunity to present a cheque for $1,000 towards purchasing a prosthetic leg for a member of the college’s ancillary staff who lost a limb to diabetes last year.

Fraser, who is also a member of faculty at the institution, received the cheque on behalf of the College.
