Samuels light up Rillan Hill again


Four years ago, Jimmy Samuel was feeling the Christmas spirit, and decided to start lighting up his house during the Christmas season.{{more}}

At a glance, it may not resonate as any big deal, but a closer look will show that in the midst of growing concerns about crime, a feeling that people are becoming more selfish, the spirit of love and beauty still exists.

Samuel, 67, returned to St Vincent to live, after spending 28 years working at a New York hospital, when he decided to do his bit to spread the Christmas joy in Rillan Hill.

“I just felt like doing it. As you see this is the only house here doing it, and a lot of people pass by to see the lights and partake of some refreshments, he said.

“I have a joy doing it,” Samuel said.
