NCB focuses on bringing banking to the people



On Monday, February 26 2007, the National Commercial Bank (SVG) Ltd. extended its Automated Banking Machine network by opening its latest addition in the Marriaqua Valley. Residents of Mesopotamia and the surrounding areas can now withdraw cash up to $2,000 within twenty-four hours, and pay their bills twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week. Cash advances on Visa/MasterCard can be made at all NCB ABM’s.{{more}}

The brief launching ceremony heard addresses from Minister of Education and Parliamentary Representative, Hon. Girlyn Miguel, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Desmond Morgan. Also present were Chief Executive Officer of the NCB, Phillip Hernandez, Manager Retail Banking Keith Inniss, ABM Officer, Leroy Rose Jnr, and Chairperson, Cheryl Rodriguez of the NCB, along with the Police and Post Mistress in the area.

The ABM is located next to the Police Station in the new National Properties building.

The NCB has ABM’s in Bequia, Canouan, Union Island, Barrouallie, two at Bedford Street, one at Halifax Street in Kingstown, at the E.T Joshua Airport, Calliaqua, the Kingstown Medical College and Mesopotamia.
