Courts St Vincent Ltd. through its Christmas project named “Courts Dare to Care this Christmas” has made several families’ “Christmas Wishes” a reality.

The public was invited to write letters on behalf of a family or individuals in their community outlining their plight and out of those Courts selected the three neediest families and an orphanage.{{more}}

Evelyn Williams of Evesham Village, who recently lost her home by fire, received a Consol Stove while Augustus Ballantyne and Jerusha Weekes of Belair, two elderly persons taking care of three grandchildren, and Shirley Lewis a widow of Fancy were presented with food baskets.

Also, receiving food baskets was the St Bendict’s Day Nursery and Infant Hospital under leadership of Sister Nyra Anne Pajotte O. Carm.

“The project’s name, Courts Dare to Care this Christmas, says it all; Amidst our busy schedule we had to reach out and bless someone who was in dire need,” said Courts Marketing Executive, Alexis Harry.

He also expressed sincere gratitude to the public for showing that community spirit by writing on behalf of someone who needed assistance.
