NCB makes donation to Kingstown Methodist Church

The 165-years-old Kingstown Methodist Chapel, which has been closed since April 16, 2006 is to undergo major restoration work to include complete removal and replacement of the roof, balcony, windows, pulpit and pews. The estimated cost is $1.5 million.

The Chapel is in every sense a National Treasure and is used for many important national events apart from worship. The Bank recognizes that the Methodist church has contributed significantly to national development and is supportive of their every effort to complete this restoration work within one year as planned.{{more}}
