“The objective of the seminar is to develop practical positions in trade negotiations to promote commercial activity here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines,” Daniel said.

As part of the seminar, focus would be placed on three industry sectors, banking, music and tourism. The meeting would look at critical issues faced in these three sectors in penetrating export markets and safeguarding local market.

On hand to deliver remarks at the workshop would be OECS Trade Policy Advisor Dr. Claudius Preville and the CRNM’s Private Sector Liaison Lincoln Price.

The forum would also hear comments from government representatives including Trade Minister Sir Lious Straker.

The PSOSVG has been functioning for the last five months and is located at Stoney Grounds.
