PM to pay official visit to Panama


Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, will pay an official visit to the Republic of Panama from July 16 to 18.

The Prime Minister will be accompanied by his wife, Eloise Gonsalves, security officer Sgt. Christopher Benjamin, Permanent Representative of St. Vincent and the Grenadines to the Organisation of American States (OAS) Ellsworth John and Alternate Representative to the OAS La Celia Prince.{{more}}

The Prime Minister will meet with Panama’s President Martin Torrijos during the visit to discuss a wide range of issues concerning both countries.

St. Vincent and the Grenadines and the Republic of Panama are expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) during the visit.

Dr. Gonsalves and his delegation will also meet with the President of the Chamber of Trade, Industry and Agriculture as well as selected businessmen in the areas of fisheries and agriculture.
