It promised to give the total package. And from the switch that many businesses seem to be making to it’s 100.5 radio frequency, Total FM is climbing in listenership.

She noted that during its first year of operation, the station’s focus was to increase coverage and ensure signal strength and clarity.

Quashie said that enhancing the quality of the broadcast strength from its transmitting site at Mt. Saint Andrew gave Total FM coverage of over 75 percent of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Coverage extends to Carriacou and parts of Grenada.

Work is now being carried out at Mt. St. Andrew to ensure coverage of close to 100 percent of the country.

Total FM’s sign on time is at 5:30 am, and throughout the day listeners can enjoy a variety of music including Caribbean and international genres.
