Browne’s rules extend to both sexes, “Any man coming to this courtroom should not wear any short pants unless they are picked up by the police on the same day, no earrings, no necklace hanging out and absolutely no overalls. For the ladies, no short skirt above their knees,

no sleeveless and no slippers,” ordered Browne. One young man even had to be sent home to change his trousers and reappear at the court in time for his case on that same day.

Browne said that person would be dealt with sternly if they do not adhere to the court’s orders. “This is a court of law and anyone coming here should respect it fully,” said Browne.

Browne commended Prosecutor Inspector David Hazelwood and his team for doing a good job and asked them to continue to exercise the laws of the court on a daily basis.
