Retirement Planning workshop for Public Officers
The Training Division of the Service Commissions Department will be conducting a seminar on Retirement Planning for Public Officers preparing to exit the Public Service in 2007.
The general aim of the workshop is to enable participants to understand how retirement planning and management fit into the human resource function of the Public Service.
The Overall objectives of the workshop are to assist participants in:
â¢ Linking organisation exit to succession planning:
â¢ Understanding the retirement benefits system in the Public Service;
â¢ Developing a personal retirement plan;
The Retirement Planning seminar commenced on Wednesday at the Service Commissions Department Training Room and ends today. Sixty people were expected to benefit from this training.
