A team of doctors from a group called the “Caribbean Medical Mission” will be offering Vincentians free medical care from August 22-25. Formed since 1996 the non profit organisation provides accessible healthcare to residents in New Jersey, New York and the Caribbean. {{more}}

Member of the team Vincentian Dr. Jacqueline Gaymes-Jones has encouraged all to seek treatment. She reassured the public that the medical practitioners are well-experienced, highly qualified and very ethical people who just want to serve.

Helping also to ensure that things run smoothly on the ground while the team is here is sportsman Donald Thomas. He said those persons who didn’t get a chance to go to Cuba can now get assistance.

The Caribbean Medical Mission have given millions worth in medical care to over 40, 000 patients under the theme “Endeavouring to serve the needy.” The team recently went to Guyana when that country was flooded late last year.

Here are the dates and places where people can get treatment:

Day 1 – Monday, August 22, would be at Georgetown, Sandy bay and Owia.

Day 2 – Tuesday, August 23, would be at Bequia, Canouan, Union Island and Mayreau

Day 3 – Wednesday, August 24, would at Layou, Barrouallie and Vermont

Day 4 – Thursday, August 25, would be at Chateaubelair, Troumaca and Rose Hall.
