The Digicel Public Relations Manager OECS also expressed concern that on lots of occasions the people produced for work are not ready for the job market.

George took over as Chairman of the Junior Achievement Board in the middle of the Junior Achievement Year. He noted that the Junior Achievement programme offers a great opportunity for persons to learn business.

“We talk often about education. And when we talk about education we talk about the academic stuff. Really and truly education is about creating a person for the world of work so that they may be able to earn a living for themselves doing so either on their own as a sole proprietor or in company with other persons,” said George.
