The televised karaoke show will climax tomorrow, at the Octagon Club at Diamond, and will feature singers from various karaoke-hosting venues around St Vincent and the Grenadines.

Charles, who represents the Boat Club in Villa, will be joined in the finals by Fitzrica Ollivierre from De Bistro in Bequia, Noveecha Toney from Jar Plum in Richland Park, Kesroy Young from Jasmine’s Bar in Georgetown, Aljay Douglas from the Tree House in Arnos Vale, Kijah Garni from Maggie’s Bar in Layou, Neroy Sam from The Chill in Sion Hill, and Stacey Kelly, also from the Boat Club in Villa.

Two semi-finalists, Keith Baptiste and Fitroy Tesheira, have been selected as reserves.

Up for grabs in the “winner takes all” competition is a cash prize of $1,000 and more than $3,000 in prizes, which include prizes from sponsors and participation in a regional competition in St Lucia.

The five-month long show, which has been considered one the top locally produced television programmes, was first aired in 2012.
