Jason “Jesus Property” Providence, has promised to give a solo artiste, duet, group or band, a 12-track recording contract with his studio, Mount Zion Productions.

Providence, also known as “JP,” said at the launch of the 2013 Busta/Fruta sponsored Gospel Festival this week that he is using the event to seek new talent, because it was on that stage he that is where he got his chance to shine in 2003, as a member of the group Soldiers of the Cross.

“I am offering this contract, knowing that we have the talent and to bring the exposure to our talent,” Providence said.

“We will be judging on vocal ability, originality, expression and stage presence… so we are inviting all talented artistes to come out to the gospel fest, because it is a time that you can showcase your talent. “All participants and all vocal performers must be a full member of a church organization,” he added.

The Canada based singer, songwriter, composer and producer has worked with a number of top regional and international gospel artistes, and has featured heavily on a number of gospel charts, as he has ranked among the top gospel artistes in the world.

Referring to local gospel singers Fenton Harry and Kyoka Cruickshank, Providence noted that there were others here who can soar to higher heights than those he had worked with internationally, and pointed out that the gospel arena is a lucrative industry.

“People might not see it, but the gospel music makes a lot of money.”

Providence said that he is thankful for the opportunity to provide artistes with the chance he received years ago through the Gospel Fest.

“I base this company on the word of God. I want to thank God for all the work that he has accomplished in my life and using the event of the Gospel Fest to propel the ministry that he has blessed me with, and I know that He is about to do that with other artistes in St Vincent and the Grenadines.
