Jaynika Williams is KGS Independence Princess

Jaynika Williams, a grade four pupil of the Kingstown Government School, was crowned the school’s 2012 independence princess at a pageant held last Saturday.{{more}}

Jaynika also captured the Best Introduction, Best Sports Wear and Best Cultural Wear categories in the competition. Grade 3 student Christyanna George won the first-runner up title and Best Interview category, while Jayanna Glasgow was judged second runner-up.

Headteacher of the school Maureen Brackin commented that she was very pleased with the outcome of the show and extended appreciation to all parents, students, teachers and other well-wishers who supported the annual event.

Brackin also thanked the main sponsor of the show, Karib Cable, and others who supported the pageant, such the Royal St Vincent & the Grenadines Police Force; IK Television
