KGS to stage independence princess pageant tomorrow

The Kingstown Government School will stage an independence princess pageant tomorrow, as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the school.{{more}}

The pageant, which will commence at 2 p.m., will see the participation of seven girls, representing seven of the school’s classes.

The girls, Christyanna George, Jayanna Glasgow, Alesha James, Allencia Mayers, Aaliyah Phillips, Molika Pitt and Jaynika Williams, will each make three appearances.

According to a release from the organizers, the funds raised from this activity will be used to replenish school supplies which were lost in the fire which destroyed part of the school compound two months ago.
