Little Tokyo from Blondie Bird is winning section of the bands

Guinness Y deLima, Hitz 103.7 Blondie Bird and Friends were again in winner’s row at the Steel and Glitter show, held on July 5 at Victoria Park, with their section “Little Tokyo”, from their 2012 presentation, “A glimpse of Kingstown”.{{more}}

SVG Players International Mas Band came in second position with the section “Circle of Life” from their presentation “Come Fly with Me”.

 
 
 

Hairoun Imagination Mas Band came in third with their section “Nightmare”, from their 2012 presentation “Things we dream of”. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Digicel Nelson Bloc in Association with Hitz FM rounded off the top 4 with their section “Pan Yard” from their 2012 presentation “Dat is Sos – Tribute to Winston Soso”.

 
 
 
 
The other bands were Ahdrenalin Mas Band, X-treme Fanatics, Metrocint General Insurance Co. Ltd/The Vincentian publishing Co. in association with Hairoun High Voltage Mas Production, and Lynx Mas Band.

The Steel and Glitter show, which saw mas bands competing for the title of Section from the Bands, also included the senior panorama competition, which was won by the Sion Hill Euphonium Steel Orchestra.

Trinidadian soca artiste Rodney ‘Benjai’ Le Blanc capped off the show with an energetic performance.(KW)
