Her name is Jovonne Zondia John, a 21 year-old resident of Lower Questelles. She credits her mother with having instilled her moral values of life. This has successfully impacted in shaping and molding her character as it is today.

Jovonne attended the Clare Valley Government School before going on to the St. Joseph’s Convent Kingstown, where she displayed her ability to be a well-rounded student and she used sports, specifically netball and athletics to balance her education.

Jovonne had the opportunity to be an ambassador for St. Vincent and the Grenadines through netball. In that spot, she displayed her leadership skills as she was given the opportunity to captain the St. Vincent National Under-16 for two years. She was also a member of the Under-23 and Senior National Netball Team.

Jovonne is no stranger to Pageantry, having participated in three pageants as follows: Miss Unity Youth, May 14, 2011: 3rd Runner up; Miss South Leeward, June 29, 2011: Queen; Miss Rural SVG, July 30, 2011: Queen. Jovonne’s immediate goal is to be a teacher, specifically for children in primary institutions.
