Five for Miss Fairhall Princess 2011 title
Five little lasses from the Fairhall community will get a taste of what may be their first experience in beauty pageantry.{{more}}
The pre-teens will be vying for top honors in the Miss Fairhall Princess Pageant, organized by the Glen United Development Organization (GUDO) and scheduled to take place this Thursday, December 22, at the Fairhall hard court.
The pageant, which begins at 6:00 p.m., will see the contestants, who will each represent a fairy-tale princess, making appearances for their introduction speech, sportswear, talent, princess wear and interview.
The contestants are 10-year-old Shanifer Forster, Red Riding Hood, sponsored by Cheweeâs Chill and Grill; Leonie Joseph, 11, Princess Ariel, sponsored by The Boat Club; 10-year-old Kristen Nanton, Princess Belle, sponsored by Macâs Construction; Glennette Peters, 11, Snow White, sponsored by Famous Rental and 11 year old Shania Power, Princess Jasmine, sponsored by Swallow Entertainment.
Co-ordinator of the event Nerissa Ollivierre said that the pageant was organized in order to show the talents of the little ladies and to provide fun and amusement for the children in the community.
This is the first of its kind in the area.
Ollivierre added that other events are planned by GUDO for the upcoming year.
