Dj Antz is Heineken Green Synergy champ

DJ Antz emerged as champion of the Heineken Green Synergy DJ Competition after an outstanding performance at the Finals held on Friday, September 2, at the Bayview Car Park in Kingstown.{{more}} The event, which was witnessed by a very large and enthusiastic crowd, was contested by six finalists; DJ Shatta Nines, DJ Kally, Mad Ants, DJ Source, DJ Antz, and the defending champion DJ Multivator. At the end of the proceedings, DJ Antz gained nods of approval from the judges, DJ Digital, DJ Webb, and DJ Akano; as well as support from all in attendance, being crowned the Heineken Green Synergy DJ Champion 2011, winning over $5000 in prize money, as well as the chance to represent

St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the regional Green Synergy Finals.

“I feel really good winning the Heineken Green Synergy Finals,” said Antonio Richards, a.k.a DJ Ant of Peruvian Vale. “I entered the competition for fun and for the experience of being able to display my skills to the people, but never expected that I would win. I would like to thank everyone who encouraged me and came out to support me.”
