The pair received the most votes in the interactive live show which is filmed at the second floor of Bickles Downtown on Saturday afternoons beginning at 3pm, and aired on Tuesdays on SVG TV at 6pm.

They came out on top with their rendition of ‘Never let you go’ originally performed by Justin Bieber on Saturday, July 16.

For their achievement, they were each awarded with books from sponsors Jujube Bookstore, Spice Buns from Bickles, and treats from Premier Distributors, the exclusive suppliers of Tea Time cookies.

Last Saturday evening, five other young contenders performed on the program, hosted by Musica Nanton.

12 year old Geronimo tried his hand solo, singing with his star Justin Bieber the song ‘Pray’, while Machalea Ragguette, 9, performed the Michael Jackson hit ‘Human Nature’.

Also in last week’s line up was eight year old Jerique John singing Mariah Carey’s ‘Hero’, seven year old Celina Clouden singing ‘Jesus loves the little children’, and the Miley Cyrus song ‘The Climb’ was performed by Shekarau Lampkin.

Singing with the Stars kids Edition, which is also sponsored by Vitamalt and Sunsail, is designed to expose the singing talents of youngsters between the ages of six to 17. Parents are encouraged to send or bring their children to the event, which also features other forms of entertainment.

The show continues tomorrow afternoon, beginning at 3 pm.

Meanwhile, the adult version of the show, which takes place and is filmed on Wednesdays at Sunsail Lounge, will feature ‘lover’s rock’ performances this Sunday evening at 7pm.

Five of the evening’s top performers were selected by their peers to be featured on the show, with the top singer to be selected by online voters.
