Luta finds Xscape to Soca

‘Xscape to Soca – The Carnival Series’ will be launched this Friday at the Xscape nightclub in Villa.

Xscape to Soca, an idea crafted by Rondy ‘Luta’ Mc Intosh, one of the Vincy Soca Dans, will feature events from this Friday, June 11, until Friday, July 9, at Xscape, located in Villa.{{more}} According to Luta, since artistes like himself are so intimately involved in entertainment during Vincy Mas, they should also play a leading role in producing events during the season to give Carnival lovers an alternative or something different to look forward to. He noted that Xscape was the perfect choice for these activities as it has the ideal atmosphere.

The inaugural event dubbed ‘Music & Rum’ will feature the Soca Dans, Reigning Soca Monarch Skinny Fabulous and Kevin Lyttle, with music by Hitz 103.7 DJ Fugitive and sound reinforcement by Platinum Sounds.

Other activities on the agenda include ‘When we meet – SVG Meets Grenada’ on June 18; ‘Soca Boat – Back in Time party’ June 26, a kids party with bouncing castles, dips etc on Sunday, June 27, ‘White Night’ on July 1, ‘Tight Spot’ on July 2, ‘The breakfast party’ – the first of its kind for all those patrons of Soca Monarch who still want to party and enjoy a scrumptious breakfast; ‘Find ah Fete’ on Carnival Tuesday, when all Kingstown is closed at 10pm, patrons can still head to Xscape for the last lap and the Carnival Cool down Fete on Friday July 9.
