‘Cousin B’ is new South Leeward Calypso King

Brent Ollivierre with stage name “Cousin B” took this year’s Hairoun Beer South Leeward Soca Monarch title.

With his big hit “Waist Line Jam”, the youngster rocked the Penniston Community Centre on Friday June 20th.{{more}}

Ollivierre walked away with $500 donated by Universal Travel Limited and a crown donated by KFC SVG Playerz International.

Last year’s monarch Adam ‘Baggio’ Edwards had to settle for second spot with his song ‘Nah me alone’. He got $300, while Lonnie Mr. Preditor Robinson was third with his hit “Cane” and received $200.

The other artistes included Vibes Dealer with “Earth Quake” and Eggy B with “Peep in yo own bowl”.
