Fireman Hooper to sing Calypso
The show on Friday night promises to be even more entertaining than their previous show on May 10th, as the artistes ready themselves for competition. They will be joined by the indomitable Fireman Hooper who promises to sing calypso. Fireman wants to make his mark in the calypso arena as he has done in Soca.{{more}}
Stephen Huggins of the Upstage Xperience sees Firemanâs inclusion in the tents as a positive move which hopefully will bring young and old back to the tents to see the Fireman perform for the first time in the ultimate calypso experience. He has sung in tents before (with On Tour) but this time he will be singing calypso.
All the artistes will now be in full battle mode and will want to impress the large audience expected to attend the Aquatic Club. In addition to Fireman Hooper, performing on Friday night at the Aquatic Club will be Bowmani, Zoelah, Skarpyon, Skinny Fabulous, Landlord, Kijah Gani, Bro Ebony, Ron B, KGB, Danielle Veira, Candy Man, Shaunelle MacKenzie, Mint, Lady D, Full Clip and Abby. Musical Accompaniment will be provided by Axcess.
D.J. Too Kool Chris is expected to take charge of the after party which is expected to swing until the wee hours of the morning.
