Barrouallie club hosts Miss Diva Mom Pageant 2008

The Platinum Personal Development and Cultural Club (PPDCC), a club formed in Barrouallie to boost the self esteem of young people in that community, will be holding the first ever Miss Diva Mom Pageant 2008.{{more}}

“Being a mom isn’t easy, and being a mom and still be a diva is even harder.” This, according to a release from PPDCC is the slogan being used to promote the pageant.

Four lovely mothers, representing their children, will grace the stage in Barrouallie at the Hard Court this evening, Friday, May 30th, 2008, from 8pm. They will make five appearances as they vie for the Miss Diva Mom title. They will be judged in five categories: Introduction, Talent, Night Wear, Evening gown and Interview.

The Pageant will see Aiessha Howe representing her son as Miss Jalon; Asha Browne, Miss Dee-Jay, and Elcitha Franklyn, Miss Donte’ both also representing their sons, and Juanitha Gaymes, representing her two children (boy and girl) as Miss Jay & Promise.
