Friday’s line up will see performances by local artistes Axcess, Skarpyon and Kyron Baptiste (photo below), with Arturo Tappin out of Barbados and Kassav from the French West Indies.

On Saturday, the Honkey Tonics, Ashley Kirby and Bomani will represent the local performers, with Trinidadian Ella Andell, Marva Wright and Stephanie Mills from the United States rounding off the line up in which the Grammy award winner Mills is listed as the headliner.

Searchlight caught up with local artist Bomani, who indicated that he is excited and looking forward to performing on Saturday.

He said that persons attending the event can expect him to expand on last year’s performance, and younger Blues lovers and the more mature audience will be in for a treat.

The event is also being held on new dates, to coincide with the Cricket World Cup warm up matches which began on Monday and end tomorrow.

The festival will be taped by American TV network BET Jams for airing in the North America.
