Two Junior Calypsonians off to New York

Two Junior Calypso winners, 16-year old Zamfir Adams of Campden Park Secondary School and 15-year old Daneisha Simmons of the Kingstown Multi Purpose Centre would be representing this country in New York at the Cultural and Educational Exposition this Sunday.

The event, which was organised by Club St Vincent Inc, has one of their themes focused around young people entitled, “Youth Take Centre Stage.”

The organisation has been functioning in New York for almost 30 years and aims to develop and implement cultural and educational programmes for the Caribbean and New York area.

Daneisha Simmons would be doing her song “Kingstown Multi Purpose Centre while Zamfir Adams would render his tune “Save the Children.”
