Madzart to perform in Hollywood Casino

Soca artiste Reaon “Madzart” Primus would be one of the headlines at the renowned “Hollywood Casino” in Los Angles California as that US state celebrates carnival.

He is scheduled to perform tonight at the posh arena with Trinidadian Denise “Sassy Wow” Belfonte.{{more}}

Madzart said that he is excited to be the only Vincentian representing his country at the festival in LA and hopes to perform several of his popular tracks. The former soca monarch also announced that he would give the people in LA a first hand taste from his new album for Vincy Carnival 2007 entitled “Miss-Ah-Screw.”

The vocalist from the band HS Phaktor said that he was able to get the gig after the organisers of the festival in LA logged on to his Internet website and were impressed by his recorded web performances and music.

He encouraged other local artistes to make use of technology such as the Internet so that they could promote themselves and St Vincent and the Grenadines to the wider world.
