Buccament Beach Resorts courts Miss Big and Beautiful

Organiser of the 2006 Miss Big and Beautiful show, Pearl Williams, has expressed gratitude to two businesses for their contribution towards the pageant.

Courts St Vincent Ltd. and the Buccament Beach Resort were the two companies that have assisted the event which would be held on Friday October 6 at Club Marcomay starting at 8 pm.{{more}}

Last Friday Courts Furniture Buyer Representative Lisa Veira handed over a Con Air Facial Spa to CEO of the pageant, Lisa Joseph. Veira said that the donation was the company’s way of supporting culture and said that they were pleased to help the ladies look more beautiful by being pampered.

This week the Buccament Beach Resort handed over $5,000 to the full figured ladies of the Miss Big and Beautiful Pageant.

Director of Development David Mane said that the contribution to the ladies was the first donation that the Buccament Beach Resort has made and pledged to give more assistance where possible.

He noted that 175 construction workers are already employed at the site and said that by the time the facility is complete the Buccament Beach Resort would further employ a hotel staff of 420. Mane who took the time out to meet with the contestants also wished them the best on the night of the show.

Contestants would make an introductory appearance, followed by African wear, Talent and evening wear.

This is the ninth year that the pageant is being held and Dianne Jackson who is also the regional titleholder currently holds the title.
