Shiverne off to Miss Universe
From a tomboy to a Beauty Queen, Shiverne Peters (at right) has made this transformation with stunning results. The 2004 Miss St.Vincent and the Grenadines and Miss Carival will be representing this country at the 2006 Miss Universe pageant to be held in Los Angeles, California on Sunday July 23.{{more}}
In a brief chat with carnival Buzz Peters said that she feels great and is confident that the experience will improve her pageantry skills. She revealed, âI know itâs going to be a great eye opening experience for me to the wider world of pageantry. I intend to come back and share and teach others what Iâve learnt overseas.â
Acknowledging that there are doubters that have chastised her harshly, the Queen emphasied, âI love all the critics they continue to improve me, we all have our bad sides to us so I love you,â she said.
