Miss Carival show comes off tonight

There’s only one crown, so who will be Miss Carival 2006? This question will be answered tonight Friday July 7 at the Victoria Park when fourteen contestants representing their homelands from across the Caribbean compete for the prestigious title.

Will it be the intelligent Johnson and Wales University student, the bright and charming Miss Anguilla-Twyla Richardson? Or the articulate and sophisticated accountant Miss Antigua & Barbuda-Mekela Williams? The helpful and very friendly Miss Bahamas-Tanisha Meadows? The very poised and tantalizing Miss Colombia-Ximena Flores Petty? The reserved yet tenacious Miss Dominica- Nakita Bruno? The hot Spanish flavour of Miss Dominican Republic-Amanda Iris Nunez?{{more}} The passionate and pensive Miss Guyana-Renee Chester? The outgoing but shy Miss St.Kitts and Nevis-Genelle Howell? The confident and bold Miss St.Lucia-Joy-Ann Biscette? The Latin mix of Miss Puerto Rico-Tatiana Ares? The petite yet strong Miss Trinidad & Tobago-Kesha Quash?

The bubbly and vivacious Miss US Virgin Islands-Taiesa Annique Lashley? The tall and elegant Miss Venezuela-Angie Fontaines? Or the talented Vincy lass, Miss St.Vincent & the Grenadines Sheridan Lewis?

The Miss Carival pageant, which is a celebration of Caribbean womanhood, will also highlight the positive attributes of the delegates who will be proudly representing their countries. The Miss Carival Show was first staged in 1985.
