According to a release from Naked Roots, the public would be exposed to the art of playing the drum which includes Caribbean and African rhythms. The objectives of this exercise are to put on show a national drumming orchestra that can make national representation, to heighten the awareness of drumming in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and to give some disadvantaged youths an opportunity to display their skill in public.

The activity is organized in collaboration with Jeoff Venner of the Music Unit in the Ministry of Education, with support from Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) and the National Lotteries Authorities (NLA).
