JP producing for Jesus
Jason Providence has been singing since he was 12 years old. His efforts are geared towards glorifying Jesus and he is proud to continue that pattern. Otherwise known as JP, he has been a Christian since 1998 and has testified that âGod called me to minister the word through music.â He is a songwriter and producer of merit. His newest release is an album called âJesus in my life.â
He aims to take Gospel music to the international arena.{{more}}
âMy dream is I want to be the first person from St. Vincent and the Grenadines to take Gospel Music internationally, up there with guys like Michael W. B. Smith,â Providence outlined.
He is the driving force behind the band Prodigos. He sees himself as âbringing back music to the rightful owners.â
âMy music is to reach mainly youths,â Providence stated. He is from a musical family. His father Lee Providence established himself with a song called âturn around. Jason has continued the tradition but has adopted a different approach using the reggae beat as well as contemporary rock music.
