Carnival goes international

Chairman of the Carnival Development Corporation (CDC) Dennis Ambrose has announced that Vincy Mas will be part of a showcase presentation at the Trump Million Dollar Invitational International Golf Tournament in Canouan.

The Vincy Mas presentation will be aired on July 2, on ESPN and July 12, on ESPN2.

According to the chairman, the CDC’s invitation to the event would be a good opportunity to promote St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Vincy Mas.

Other measures to promote Vincy Mas, he said, are through ongoing advertising during the current West Indies home series and the placing of stamps on outgoing mail through the postal corporation.

Meanwhile, as part of efforts to ensure the continuation of this country’s most prestigious festival, a number of cheques were handed over from the business community to the Carnival Development Corporation on Tuesday.

Chairman of the CDC Dennis Ambrose acknowledged their contribution to the national festival.
