Meet the Miss SVG contestants

Karen Veira – Miss Coreas Hazells Inc.

Born in the mid afternoon of October 20th 1986, Karen Alexis Veira is the last of the three sisters.

She is a past student of the Kingstown Preparatory School, the Girls’ High School and the Community College. Karen is presently involved with her family business, C.D. Veira Ltd. (Singer), as she awaits acceptance to the University of the West Indies, where she intends to pursue studies in Business Management.

The one thing Karen enjoys most is singing. In 2005, she made my debut as a soca artist in SVG.

Jihan Lampkin – Miss Lotto

Jihan Lydicia Lampkin was born on the 21st December 1985 to Lydia and Percy Lampkin of Rose Hall. Jihan is her parent’s second daughter. Jihan also has three brothers who are all older than she.

Jihan’s interests include reading, music, dancing, meeting people. She lives in Rose Hall with her parents and is employed with the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Coast Guard Service.

Arianne Browne- Miss Vincentian Publishing Co.

Born under the zodiac sign of Aries on the 11th April, 1983, 22-year-old Arianne Browne, is the youngest of 4 children. She resides in the cool breezy village of Belmont.

Arianne is an employee of Blue Skye Communications. She is a former student of the Belmont Government School, the St. Joseph’s Convent Marriaqua, and the St. Vincent Community College. Arianne aspires to be a child psychologist and hopes to obtain her degree at the University of the West Indies.

Sheridan Lewis – Miss Roy’s Inn

22-year-old Sheridan Lewis of Arnos Vale has been a Radio Announcer at Nice Radio for the past 2 years. She is the daughter of Leroy and Shirley Lewis.

Sheridan is a past student of the Sion Hill Government School, the St. Vincent Girls’ High School and the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College. This young lady has a passion for entertainment. Her career goal is to be a Recording Artiste/Producer or to be in the field of marketing.

Naressa Ollivierre – Miss Mustique Co. Ltd.

Born on the 13th February 1985, Naressa hails from the village of Glen. An Aquarius born, Naressa is sensitive and a very patient individual. A petite young lady, Naressa stands at 5ft 1 inch tall, but has a big personality and is full of exuberance. Naressa has wide experience in entering beauty shows.

Naressa is a talented netballer and athlete. She attended the Calliaqua Anglican Primary School and the Intermediate High School. She is currently employed at the National Lotteries Authority, but her goal is to one day become a nutritionist as being healthy, eating the right foods and taking care of the body on a whole is at the top of her list of priorities.

Natally Harry – Miss Canadian Bank Notes

18-year-old Natally Harry of Upper Cane Hall was born on the 24th of January 1988 to Ardis and Eglon Harry. She has two sisters and one brother. She shares her home with her mother, grandmother and four cousins.

Natally is a graduate of the Richmond Hill Government School and the Emmanuel High School, Mesopotamia.

Natally is a first year student at the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College where she is pursuing studies in Hospitality and Business Administration.

Danielle Ollivierre – Miss Caribbean Awnings

Danielle Ollivierre was born on the 17th October 1984, one of three children born to Steve and Rochelle Ollivierre. Danielle is a past student of the St. Mary’s Roman Catholic School, the Windsor Primary School and the Saint Joseph’s Convent Kingstown. At present Danielle attends the Hillsborough Community College in the USA where she is pursuing an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts and Dance.

Danielle’s vision is to be the proprietor of a Dance Institute in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
