Gordon crowned MSC Homecoming Queen

Cemetery Hill, Bequia native, Galeine Gordon, beamed with excitement as she posed with Murray State College (MSC) President Dr. Bill Pennington after being crowned Homecoming Queen during coronation held Thursday, January 19.

Gordon was the candidate representing the Business Information Technology Society (BITS).{{more}} She is a sophomore basketball player majoring in business. She received a great ovation from the near-capacity crowd that watched the event. Her escort was James Morman, a business major from Houston who also plays basketball. There were nine candidates contending for the title.

MSC is a public, two-year, community college offering a general education program parallel to and consistent with the first two years of a four-year institution. Murray offers the Associate in Science, Associate in Arts and Associate in Applied Science degrees in a variety of programs.
