New Look for Vincy Mas ‘05

Seen as a means of promoting Vincy Mas to the rest of the world, the Carnival Development Corporation (CDC) launched its annual official poster and view cards Tuesday 22nd. {{more}}

CDC Chairman Dennis Ambrose said the poster, which was designed by veteran masman Michael Olliveirre and printed in the Republic of China on Taiwan, aims to capture the essence of the premiere festival. This year the poster depicts the Queen of the Band from SVG Players International and a section from the Dragons Mas band in a festive mood.

While displaying the three view cards, Ambrose noted that neighbouring islands such as Grenada and St.Lucia are also following suit with this type of marketing strategy, which also gives the dates of the events for Vincy Mas, which is to be launched on May 7.

The CDC Chairman encouraged the public to make use of the view cards which can be mailed to friends and family oversees and can also be found at entry and exit points in this country.
